Workshop: Introduction to Linked Data

Or: Graph data for the rest of us

Event_large

You don't need to be Google or Facebook to make sense out of graph based data. Linked Data and the Resource Description Framework RDF provide all you need to model and query problems in a graph based format.

This talk is a gentle introduction to Linked Data and the Resource Description Framework (RDF) technology stack.

We start with the web of document, move to RDF and Linked Data concepts and start playing around with SPARQL to query graph based Linked Open Data.

I will also talk about the basics of what you need to know if you want to use RDF and Linked Data in some of the common programming languages and in the web browser.
